Week 1:

Boy Scouts of America

This website is inspiring for many young boys. Their goal is to train youth in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of outdoor activities, educational programs, and, at older age levels, career-oriented programs in partnership with community organizations. BSA helps young boys learn their scouting values such as trustworthiness, good citizenship, and outdoors skills, through a variety of activities such as camping, aquatics, and hiking. This website is effective because it teaches young boys to learn new skills for when they get older, just like the girl’s scout this is all for boys. The website is simple and easy to navigate.

Week 2:

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

This website is inspiring me to help other people especially children struggle with cancer. Also, St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Its mission is  of St. Jude Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.

Week 3:

RF Foundation

The owner of this foundation is the tennis player Roger Federer. This foundation mission is to educate children who live in Africa. Also, The Roger Federer Foundation enhances a world where children living in poverty are able to take control of their future and actively shape it. There is sufficient evidence that proves that education is a prerequisite for reducing poverty, improving preventive healthcare and creating a committed civil society. In particular, access to quality early education is crucial as it is the foundation of all learning. In low-income countries, more than 80% of children do not have access to early education. We thus aim to give children the best start on their educational path through life by establishing and further develop existing early educational services in a sustainable way.

Week 4:

Creative Commons

organization and it is inspiring because it is devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and share. The organization has released several copyright-licenses known as Creative Commons licenses free of charge to the public. Creative Commons mission is to help you legally share your knowledge and creativity to build a more equitable, accessible, and innovative world. This website is effective because there are many creative and talented artist in this world and this website could help them share their artworks to the entire world to see. Creative Commons free, easy-to-use copyright licenses provide a simple, standardized way to give your permission to share and use your creative artwork. This website is informative if you’re looking to upload any sort of your artwork.

Week 5:

Make A Wish

The Make-A- Wish foundation is a nonprofit organization that grants “wishes” to children who have critical illnesses. The child must be between the ages of 2 and 17 to be able to make a wish. At the end of the day it is the child’s physician who gets to make the decision that the child can do whatever they wished for. This is an awesome nonprofit organization because it makes kids with illnesses happy again and people get to give back to them as well.

Week 6:

The Humane Rescue Alliance

I found inspirational was for the nonprofit, Human Rescue Alliance, which dedicates their time ensuring safety and welfare of all animals in addition to bringing people and animals together. Besides the mission statement itself, the website is very well designed and informative. The web design is interactive and has a bunch of creative and inspirational visuals like videos, pictures, and cartoons of both animals and people.
