Catullus 5 begins:
Let us live, my Lesbia, and let us love,
And let us hold of little value all the talk of stern old men!
Suns can set and rise again;
But for us when once our brief light has set (died),
We must sleep one perpetual night.
Give me 1,000 kisses, then a hundred,
Then another thousand, then a second hundred,
Then without a break another thousand, then a hundred …

Three months after the second facial graft, Jerome Hamon revealed his new face during an encounter with the media.
He appeared with a face soft yet immobile that did not match the circumference of his skull. Monday, Jerome Hamon, the first man in the world to have undergone two facial grafts, had revealed his new “identity” within a meeting with the media, three months after the latest surgery that took place during the night of the 15th to 16th of January. “Feels so good,” said the forty-year-old grafted man, “I can’t wait to be liberated from all this,” he added, tired by the vigorous immunosuppressive treatment that prevents any new rejection he might still suffer. He expresses himself verbally with difficulty.
Affected by a genetic disease. Jerome Hamon has been grafted because he had suffered since his infancy from a genetic disease that disfigured his face, Neurofibromatosis type 1. In 2010, he turns to a team of a plastic surgeon, Dr. Laurent Lantieri, who is to perform a total facial graft. A surgery first realized in the world at Henri-Mondor hospital of Creteil, near Paris.
The first graft. Success was seen in the early stages, but it was only temporary because within the same year, due to a common cold, Jerome Hamon was treated with an antibiotic incompatible with his immunosuppressive treatment. In 2006, he started demonstrating chronic signs of rejection, and his face deteriorated. In the summer 2017, he was hospitalized, and in November, his grafted face, which showed areas of necrosis, had to be taken off. In September, Jerome Hamon is then again registered among the patients awaiting a transplant.
A new surgery. In total, he stays several months “without a face” in intensive care at Pompidou. On the 14th of January, the Biomedicine agency notified Jerome Hamon of a compatible donor. The following day, the team of Dr. Laurent Lantieri, at the European hospital George-Pompidou with the assistance of the public-hospital of Paris (AP-HP), undertook this technical surgery, delicate and impressive: The team then placed the new face on the surface of the patient, by connecting it to all it to all that makes the complete anatomy of his head.
“It is done, that is me.” A success both in terms technical and psychological assured the patient, Jerome Hamon stated, “from the first graft, I immediately accepted the transplant. I considered that it was a new face, and now after getting used to the second transplant, it is same,” Jerome Hamon considers today, “If I had not accepted this new face, it would have been a tragedy. Effectively, it is a question of identity (…) but now, it is done, it is me.”

Translating some of the Bible passages into Arabic
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding ; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
.توكل على الرب بكل قلبك ولا تعتمد على فهمك. في كل الطرق اعرفه وهو يقودك الى السراط المستقيم.
9 Have I not commanded you? Be Strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
أما امرتك؟ تشجع وتشدد. لا ترهب ولا تخاف لأن الرب إلهك معك حيثما تذهب.
