Ethics Week SBT Event

We are seeking speakers (faculty and students) for our annual Ethics Week (Ted-Type) Talks, in which presenters will have 8 to 12 minutes to share their story or idea!

This year’s Ethics Week theme is immigration and migration. Our Ethics Week presentation is on Tuesday, February 11th, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. in the Ballston second floor conference center and on Zoom.. If you are interested in sharing, please contact Nam Nguyen via email at

All are welcome to attend! Presentation slots may be limited due to time and interest. Please make note the following due dates:

January 24th, 2020 – Sign up, topic and brief description via e-mail to

January 26th, 2020 – Confirmation notification sent out

February 9th, 2020 – Please submit final presentation via e-mail to

February 11th, 2020 – See you at 7:00 P.M. in the Ballston auditorium

Topic ideas: Share your immigration or migration story, smart city, telemedicine, how remote work will shape our economy and living. If you have an idea to share relating to our theme on immigration and migration, we would love to hear from you!
