    • The purpose is to give the payphones a useful service since they mostly take up space and aren’t used.
  • The audience for the example?
    • People using them for conference calls, working in their computers and finding a way to pay for the use of the office.
  • Why your example is effective?
    • It reuses something that really only takes up space in the city. In addition, it is best to see people’s reactions to the small office that they can use if they want to around.

1/28 Giant BoomBox

  • The purpose of the example?
    • Have people plug in the giant boom box to a plug
  • The audience for the example?
    • people of all ages would plug in the boom box, in which a song would play and light everything around them and performance would dance.
  • Why your example is effective?
    • It has people engage with the boom box and then asked questions into how they feel about what they witness and had a holiday twist to the whole thing.

2/4 hand holding prank

  • The purpose of the example?
    • a man and woman try to hold hands with random strangers as they go up the escalator.
  • The audience for the example?
    • mostly their reactions to how someone would hold their hands even if it is male with female, male with male, and female with female.
  • Why your example is effective?
    • It has the audience give a very raw and human reaction to the things that they present.

2/11 Jeniffer Lawrence pranks SMOSH

  • The purpose of the example?
    • Jeniffer Lawrence is going through an interview that normally would be a prank for her, but the catch is that the ones doing the prank are getting prank by someone else.
  • The audience for the example?
    • The reverse part of expecting to do a prank to only get pranked back is a surprising and creative effect.
  • Why your example is effective?
    • The initiative was also for a good cause for Prank it Foward, doing small pranks that do good for people. Whether to learn more about illnesses or just random acts of kindness.

  • The purpose of the example?
    • When a man takes off his glasses the things around him go silent until he puts them back on.
  • The audience for the example?
    • They were reacting to the silence and the confusion into how people who were doing a loud jazz performance, fighting, or break dancing were able to keep almost completely silent for a short time.
  • Why your example is effective?
    • It has people sorta be aware of their surroundings and notice how weird things can be when it is almost silent.

2/25 McPickle

  • The purpose of the example?
    • An April fools prank that McDonald would serve a burger of only pickles.
  • The audience for the example?
    • It made people order a McPickle even though it was not on the menu.
  • Why your example is effective?
    • It shows that people would jump on a trend and curiosity is bigger than anything most people do.

3/3 MP3 Expirement

  • The purpose of the example?
    • Having people act randomly as they are told as they wear headphones.
  • The audience for the example?
    • The audience would sometimes be followed or not have a clue why people are acting the way that they are.
  • Why your example is effective?
    • It shows how people can be together to achieve something when they are told and act together.
