“Lilith [#] ”

In my garden

we were golden

Then you walked away

In my garden

You were something, there

And it has some source of light
Blindness blindness and sight
The perils of benefactors
The blessings of parasites

There was a lot of sunlight when we were trying to take this picture, that’s the reason why our eyes are barely open.

In The Rainforest So Lush- Poem by O Anna Niemus

In the rainforest so lush
there is a sacred hush
as the morning sun’s paintbrush
gives each tree jade blush
and dips its fruits in wash
of pink or rose flush

Plants have adaptations to help them survive (live and grow) in different areas. Adaptations are special features that allow a plant or animal to live in a particular place or habitat.

In this place, we can find plants reminiscent of the Jurassic era including mosses, ferns, and cycads.

These plants have adapted to live on remote volcanic islands.

In this section, we can discover succulents, cacti and other plants adapted to arid environments.

In the Botanic Garden, we can find an ever-changing display of blooming orchids from a collection of over  5,000 specimens.

“Like people, plants respond to extra attention.” -H. Peter Loewer

” A garden is not a place. It’s a journey” -Monty Don

“Wherever life plants, you bloom with grace.”-Unknown

Flowers get their food from sunlight, water, and minerals in the soil; flowers are the reproductive parts of a plant, and plants make their own food by photosynthesis.

“A flower cannot blossom without sunshine, and man cannot live without love.” – Max
