2. An establishing view:
This outdoor amphitheater is dedicated to all of the American soldiers who have fought for out country’s freedom. Written above the stage are the words, “We here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vein”, spoken by Abraham Lincoln in his Gettysburg Address.
3. Abstraction- A reflection:
As Grace was approaching me, the light coming from behind her created a nice reflection silhouette of her upper half in this puddle.
This 12 foot sculpture “The Price of Freedom”, took eight years to construct.
5.Unusual camera angle:
The Arlington Cemetery contains more than 400,000 people buried on it’s grounds, beginning in the 1860’s.
6. A creative shot:
At the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, dedicated to all the unidentified soldiers who died in service, a guard from the US Army walks back and forth down a straight line for an hour at a time and wears no rank insignia so he does not outrank any the Unknowns. This guard position is very rarely bestowed and considered one of the highest honors.
