VIVA Cooperative Borrowing Program

The Virtual Library of Virginia (VIVA) is the consortium of academic libraries in Virginia. Marymount University participates in the VIVA Cooperative Borrowing Program. This program allows students, faculty and staff at VIVA institutions to visit any participating college or university library and borrow materials.

  • Current Marymount students, faculty and staff are eligible to borrow materials directly, on-site at approximately 50 participating libraries throughout Virginia.
  • Students, faculty and staff from VIVA institutions may request to check out books in person at Reinsch Library.
  • Loan periods, eligible materials and other policies are set by the lending library.

Press the VIVA button to find out how to take advantage of this library service.

Contact the MU library before your visit for complete information. You can use the online interlibrary loan form to request materials that are not available in MU Library Search and pick them up at a MU library circulation desk.
