Any activity that you do to make you feel better, mentally, physically, and even spiritually. This activity should make you feel relaxed, and less anxious. This activity shouldn’t be forced, and should help you connect with yourself.
Benefits of Self-care:
Anyone can get wrapped up in everyday life especially college students. Having to manage a full day of work along with other life events can cause people to have anxiety or feel like they are overworking themselves. It can be very beneficial to set 10 minutes or more on de-stressing and focusing on yourself. This helps improve mental health, improve the relationship with yourself, and enhances our everyday lives.
