Kriska: Alaska’s Underwater Battlefield is an eight-day survey. The expedition team used existing archaeological and historical data to explore one of the best-preserved historical battlefields from World War II. Not only is it the least studied battlefields, but it is also one of the most significant.
Using technology, the research team was able to provide an inventory of information necessary to manage and preserve the site. They were able to locate and document wreckage of aircraft, ships, and submarines.
