Marymount B.L.O.G.S

I am addicted to the snooze button.  Also, my bed.  And my pillow.  I struggle before caffeine enters my system.  In fact there is a saying in our apartment: pre-coffee-Ashley.  Pre-coffee-Ashley is not to be taken seriously.  Anything she says or does prior to coffee cannot be held against her.

Safe to say, mornings are not my thing.  But, I want them to be.  When I read articles about the 14 things CEOs do before your alarm goes off, I am filled with the desire to be a morning lark.  I have found that on days when I do get up at 5:00 a.m. (because let’s be honest, anything before that should still be considered p.m.), I accomplish much more than on days when I sleep in.  Even if “sleeping in” is 8:00 a.m.  Oh, how my undergrad self would laugh at me right now.

See what I mean?  May this chart be my inspiration to rise and shine.  Maybe I should tape it to my alarm clock…

Are you a morning lark or a night owl?

Pillows and snooze buttons,

Ashley
