Marymount offers a small, individually-centered graduate program of study in English and Humanities. Our classes are student-focused and most are conducted as small seminars. We have three distinct tracks: Literature, Language & Composition, and Humanities. In each of these tracks, you can tailor much of your curriculum to suit your needs; because of the size of our program, you can also take advantage of opportunities for independent study and research. As a capstone to your coursework, you can choose to complete a substantial research project or thesis, or you can elect to complete an internship practicum. Our location provides great opportunities with one of the many cultural institutions in the DC metropolitan area.
