Please come to English Night, our annual celebration of graduating students in English and Humanities, on Tuesday, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 in the Reinsch Auditorium. Take a look at the program here.
This year’s ceremony will feature awards for outstanding student publications in our non-fiction journal, Magnificat, as well as our senior seminar essay awards. In addition, we will have a reading from “The Hair Chronicles,” an original play written and performed by three alumnae. The semi-autobiographical play evolved from a project for a graduate course here at Marymount and has been accepted in this year’s D.C. Fringe Theatre Festival.
Our ever-popular “free book” table will be ripe for the picking, and several of our emerita professors plan to return to join in the fun. We hope you’ll be able to join us! As always, kids are welcome.
