It’s that time of year again! The editorial board of Magnificat, Marymount’s journal of undergraduate nonfiction, is hoping you’ll be able to help swell our coffers with remarkable examples of student writing. Magnificat publishes student essays in a variety of disciplines. If you have any essays that you are particularly proud of, submit them to Magnificat. We are especially looking for critical and creative nonfiction essays written for Marymount classes in all disciplines.
To submit, all you need to do is forward an electronic copy of your essay to email@example.com. If you no longer have an electronic copy, we can have our editorial board scan hard copies into Word format–in this case, just drop a hard copy off in the Arts & Sciences office.
Magnificat has a website if you would like to see what your peers have already done in the past. (http://muweb.marymount.edu/~magnifi)
You can play an even bigger role in the journal, too. If you are interested in sitting on the editorial board, contact Magnificat staff at firstname.lastname@example.org or directly at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our goal is to transform Magnificat into a truly competitive journal representing student work from around the area. Given the success of our most recent issues, we are well on our way.
