    I think either of your options 2 & 3 would be great to look at for a final project. I’d steer away from Carson’s since most political/star autobiographies are ghost written, which makes them difficult to hold up under the scrutiny of literary study. Malala’s memoir, on the other hand, ties in well with her other public speeches and comments, so it’s a much richer source if you want to look at memoirs of high profile people. Engelberg’s would be an interesting fit as well with our novels of illness and graphic novels. You might see which of these you can find the most interesting analytical sources on in the library workshop.
