Dr. Kim Meltzer presented a program last night (1/21/20) at the Westover Branch of the Arlington Public Library. It was called “The Evolution of Political News.” She also discussed the heightened attention given to so-called “fake news,” misinformation and disinformation and some steps people can take to be more critical users of news. Dr. Meltzer concluded Westover’s two-part lecture series focused on civic engagement.

Education Week is next week, November 18-22! The Marymount community will be having events all week focusing on international exchange, global education, and a global perspective.
